This discussion will be led by the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. Members of the PCP have a particular interest in how filmmakers represent people, their motivations, and their actions. This discussion group will include insights and conversation about how the film’s characters are portrayed and what might be behind the feelings they display, the reactions they have, and the choices they make.

In keeping with our goal of facilitating and encouraging film appreciation in our community, Bryn Mawr Film Institute is proud to announce the creation of the BMFI Film Review Forum. This page is a place where our patrons may post their own reviews of recent films they've seen. We look forward to reading your informed insights and opinions, and of course, to seeing you at the movies.
Post your own, original film review here. (When posting a review of a film that has yet to be discussed, start by creating a new forum topic. Otherwise, click on an existing topic and post your take on that film there.)

Discussion Host: Serendip
These discussions will be moderated by the BMFI's Director of Education and other members of the BMFI staff, but it will be guided by you, the intelligent, articulate, and engaging film fan. Online forums such as these can, in the best of cases, carve out striking intellectual paths, but they do so only through the contributions of the participants. See the film, consider it and the ideas it raises, and share your thoughts with other members of the BMFI community. Serendip is both an expanding forum and a continually developing set of resources to explore and support intellectual and social change in education, in social organization . . . and in how one makes sense of life. It is hosted at Bryn Mawr College, is 14 years old, and welcomes over 3 million unique visitors annually.
